avoiding my homework
Feb. 19th, 2002 06:38 pmi've decided that as soon as i finish writing this, i'll work on my lab for chem. thus, i'm taking as long a time as possible with lj so i have an excuse not to work. lovely, isn't it? and i have a hum paper about prophets still to write. i don't think i'll go to dancing...i doubt it'll be much fun since i don't have a partner or anything for rhumba and cha-cha. i'll just find kevin tomorrow and give him my registration form for day by the shores. that's gonna be so exciting! my grandparents gave me random money "for costumes," as they put it, and my parents gave me money for shoes, even though i already have a pair. my dad was like, "well, you haven't paid for them yet, so here's the money for them." i'm not complaining. having extra money is always nice. i'm not sure what came over my family all of a sudden...it must be the fact that i don't live there anymore. oh, well, it's nice.
so i took my lab quiz that i actually didn't really have to take since i already got hundreds on the first two, and only the top two count. i'm kinda glad i took it, though...it was a good exercise in debugging. now i need to think of something cool to do for my second project that involves at least two programs, along with a subroutine or an external function, and an array or graphics. i think i'll do graphics, since i have no clue what an array is. i should probably find out before the next quiz...yes.
am very hapy for nikki...but am in dire need of more details. cin filled me in on the news, but i want to talk to nik herself and find out the latest stuff...except she's always away. perhaps we can talk later. hopefully, "vile richard/daniel" will not be vile anymore and will decide that nik is the love of his life and will want a commitment and all. but in any case, congrats nik!
well, i should go and actually work. what an awful sad thought. homework sucks. hum sucks, too. well, at least the writing part of it does. oh, well, bye now.
