resolution failed

dancingyeli'd made a resolution that i wouldn't do any grad school stuff right before bed because it makes me stressed out and i end up not being able to fall asleep 'cause my mind goes nuts. but that failed very soon...that's waht i get for being a night person, i guess. ick. at least i got a lot done with it.
kevin and tali, thanks so much for your comments on my personal statement! i appreciate them muchly. i'm almost done editing and will send the edited version back to you (well, kevin, since i still don't have tali's email address) for further critique, if you don't mind. you guys rock.
one of my letters of rec people sent me an e-mail saying that he's sent out the letter already and based on it, i should be made associate professor. heh. i think that's awesome, and also quite amusing. i just hope it really does help me get in somewhere.
i'm sorry for all the grad school whining i'm doing. i promise it'll be over soon!
oh, and one more thought before i go to bed. one of the nice things about being a dancer is that i get to be really huggy with my crush and he even kisses me on the cheek hello and goodbye. the bad thing about it is that it isn't an indication of any interest, merely an affectionate gesture. sillyness. why can't i fall for people who actually like me back? is that so much to ask? apparently, yes. am i just not date-able for some reason? that would be highly depressing. ah, well.
ok, good night. maybe i'll really get some sleep. oh, cin...if you read this, i'm amused at the fact that i'm listening to the "ralph song." oh, and also...cin, we need to do the people-i'd-want-to-date list. i'm curious to see who would end up near the top. there are so many very cool dancer guys. ok, good night for real.
