dancingyel | a few random thoughts

so...i'm off to command staff and then comp practice in a few minutes, which will be...well, interesting, i suppose. i'm in a kinda weird mood again, even though nothing is really happenning. i had a lovely evening yesterday...emily came over and we hung out and chatted and watched "the three musketeers," which was awesome. heh...young and very curly chris o'donnell. hehehe. yes. so that was nice. and today, i had class and then met with mimi and then ran into andres and we hung out for a while...and you know what? i'm more or less over him. like, i'm sure if he asked me out, i'd go for it, but at the same time, i'm totally cool with the way things are. of course, part of the reason is that i have a new horribly not helpful crush, but no matter. i'm almost done here, anyhow.

plans for the near future: vegas this weekend, which will be completely awesome, i'm sure. next weekend is free, as far as i can tell, and then i'm going up to the bay area to visit my sister and to interview with tali's mom for a possible job for next year! super exciting! i need to get my resume and my letters of rec and stuff, and also read some of her articles again, 'cause i only skimmed them before...but i'm so hyped up! it would be completely and totally awesome to work for her, in palo alto! so yes, wish me luck!

so i guess the weird part of my mood is that i'm feeling very quiet and in need of space, which i won't be getting this evening. at the same time, though, i'm feeling really hopeful for next year, like i can do so many different things (maybe). i guess it'll all work itself out.
