ethan is the sole survivor!
Jan. 10th, 2002 11:29 pmyes, i watch that show...in fact, i have followed it faithfully the whole season, and i'm very happy that ethan won. this is the first time the person i liked the best actually won the game! that was very nice. now i wanna go to the survivor site, but they said they won't update it 'till midnight, so i have 30 minutes or so 'till then.
we were making stress balls today for a study break. mine is pink, and when cin's markers get here, i'm gonna draw a little face on it so it'll be all cool. i just hope it doesn't burst or else there'll be flour all over the room. that would be bad. speaking of rooms, i gotta clean my half of the room since it's the messier one, as usual.
so a while ago, i went to this web site about superstring theory, and it had some really funny/strange things to say. there are lots of weird things that i didn't know existed. here are some of them:
tachyons -- particles with imaginary mass...sam says this is what our imaginary friends are made out of
gravitrons -- massless particles with two units of spin...these carry gravity or something like that
7-dimensional spheres and 11-dimensional superstrings...just a weird concept
and the funniest one (this is a direct quote): "bad quantum states called ghosts with unphysical negative probabilities."
isn't that just great? i think it's the most hilarious/weird thing. how does something have a negative probability or an imaginary mass? i guess that's something that will reamin a mystery to me forever.
