procrastinating, as usual

i have a midterm i should be studying for, but that though just doesn't appeal right now, so i thought i'd write for a bit. it's probably not the best idea, since i have loads of french to read, but oh, well. i really can't settle down to read any of it right now. so i was reading this online class about spiritual excelence, and it made me thoughtful. i only read the first two lessons, but it was talking about "minor" sins and how the fact that they're minor makes them no less important and sinful. it just made me think, 'cause there are lots of things that don't seem very important, insignificant, really...but they're wrong just the same and should be avoided. the writer said "rather than concentrate on the 'insignificance' of the sin itself, concentrate instead on the significance of the One who warned you about it." that's sort of a novel way of thinking about it, for me, at least, since i'm not used to a central idea of God behind everything else. it's very interesting...i shall have to follow that class carefully and consistently.

i think my abs and buns are geting used to working out. i'm tired, but not really sore, which is quite surprising. i mean, i struggle as much as before to keep up in that class, but it doesn't hurt as much later. i suppose that's a good thing. now for the results...i wonder when they'll come. ah, well...all in due time. i should start walking everyday, just to be in shape. i was feeling very grateful this morning, in hum section. before it started, cin and i were talking about the walk, and she said she wished she could walk with me or at least alongside the route or something. it made me really happy...i'm very lucky to have such support. my friends never cease to amaze me. thank you, cin, for being so wonderful and supportive of me...and thanks to the rest of you guys for encouraging me and just being there. i love you all.
