i love long weekends...

it was so nice to go home for the weekend...i didn't have class tuesday, so cin and i flew home sunday morning and came back tuesday night. it was just a short break, but it was desperately needed. i really missed my family, especially rachel. she's such a doll! i got to hang out with her monday, and she's just great! she's a very good kid...she's sweet and friendly. i can't believe how big she's gotten...she's almost two already. i remember holding her when she was about 4 hours old...and now she's running around, repeating everything everyone says. time goes by so quickly...weird.

besides seeing rachel, i got to spend time with my family in general, and also hang out with sam, nikki, and annieo. sam and i went to see about a boy, a very amusing movie. i like hugh grant...he's tres funny and entertaining. nikki annieo and i went downtown and had lunch at the metreon, then wandered around looking for black pants for nikki's sister camille. it was tres nice seing my friends again. i'll get to hang out with nik next week when she comes to visit, but i won't see sam 'till i go home for the summer, and i won't see annieo 'till august! so yes...the weekend was very good. now i need to get back into school mode and finish up this year. i'll be done with my first year of college soon! woohoo!
