long talks are nice

i think that's very true...i just had a really good convo with this guy who's the son of a friend of a friend of my mom's..long convoluted connection, i know. but yeah...so now, i'm not at all sleepy...i'm rather hyper, in fact. we talked about lots of random things, and it was just nice. i was afraid it would be all awkward, since at the beginning of the convo, we basically only knew each other's names...but it was cool...not awkward at all...yes. so on saturday, we're gonna go see ep. 2 at amc1000 since i want to see it while it's still in theatres, and he wants to see it in digital projection, since that's how it was filmed. yep...so i'm looking forward to that.

i will now attempt to sleep...expect more lj entries later...maybe...if i feel like it...i find it hard to sit down and write during the summer, as you all may have noticed with the erratic updating and all. oh, well. good night.

Yay!!!!!

i just talked to the lady in charge of the stanley fellowship that louann told me i can receive, and after sending in my resume, writing about 3 sentences on what my plan for the summer is, and filling out 2 forms, i will be receiving $3000 in september! isn't that great? i'm totally hyped up...it's nice to receive money for something i would've done without even getting paid, you know? and $3000 is a lot of money...it comes out to over$8/hour...some random job i would've found probably wouldn't pay me that...and it wouldn't be as interesting...and it wouldn't be so great on my resume. so yes. this is tres happy!
