lots to write about, not enough time. i'll write tomorrow, i promise. for now, suffice it to say that i'm thoughtful but happy.

i need to do hum reading

...but i really don't want to. i guess i'll have to this evening, though...i'm pretty behind, and i don't have time during the week to really keep up. i also need to read my ochem. silly thing.

so friday was really nice. dancing was super fun, as usual. it's funny when there are beginners around because then they think i'm really good, even when i mess up. it's quite amusing, really...and also happifying, because even though i know i'm not that good, it's nice to know some people who think so. then, services were cool. i got all quiet and thoughtful because it was just one of those days that confirmed the existence of God...synchronicity and all. the Torah portion was about isaac and rebekah, so the discussion topic was relationships and whether or not it's possible to separate religious life from love life, and whether or not we are really in control of our own love lives. it was something i had been thinking about, so the fact that it was the topic for the week was pretty neat. kinda like God speaking through all these people.

after services, dan and i went to hang out with the navs people for their game night. i hadn't realized just how much i missed hanging out with that group until then! they're such cool people! it was all very happy, especially the fact that dan got along with them really well and they all seemed to like him a lot. he even went to play ultimate with them on saturday...and he's gonna do it on a regular basis now and even carpool with pink robbie! this all makes me super happy...hooray!

saturday was nice, too. i actually got up to play ultimate, which is something i don't think i've ever done before. i'm in better shape than i thought i was, but i still suck at ultimate...can't really catch or throw...but that's ok. then, i had a nice nap, and then i went to margaret's b-day dinner. it was kinda weird, beacuse i went without cin and dan went, too...and i felt a bit out of place, but not really. everyone kept asking where cindy was. i swear, i should've had a little tape player saying, "cindy is meeting with charlene, darlene, and robbie to plan for nav-nite." or i should've had a sign. or something. but that's ok. afterwards, dan and i went back to his place and watched gosford park...it was like the fourth time i've seen it, but i still really like it. good, amusing movie. so yes, it was a nice, laid-back saturday night.

later on, i'm going to the symphony and then it's hw time.
