quickie update

so i just have to share because it's too exciting not to. i went to talk to 2 of the profs i'm asking for my letters of rec, and both meetings were hugely successful. one prof, the one i hated all through the honors program last year, is really excited about my entuthiasm and gre scores and is going to write me a really good letter and is hiring me to be a paid ta for his class next quarter. he also told me to tell him which profs in the schools i'm applying ot have similar research interests to mine and he's going to see if he knows any of them and will email them directly. so wow. and the other prof was really nice and said he'd write me a good letter and asked me to ta for his developmental psych class, and i think i will. so 2 ta positions (one paid, one not), two good letters of rec, and much excitement. one more prof to go, but i think that'll wait 'till monday. but i feel lots better about all this grad school stuff. now to get the psych gre done and over with!
