i think i'm finding a friend network

mixed feelings about tonight, for different reasons, but for sure, i love the group. i realized i could be really good friends with these people when one of them who i had met for the second time tonight took my hair out of its ponytail holder and stood with me for 5 minutes, scratching my head. awesomeness. and also, there was a guy i met for all of a minute, was introduced to, and then we didn't speak again 'till everyone was leaving, simply because we ended up on different sides of the room. well, when he saw me leaving, he wandered over, said it was nice to meet me, and gave me a hug. this was pretty much a complete stranger whose name i'm not even sure of! so yeah, friendly awesome people with whom i feel quite at home and very welcome. i'm now on their gathering mailing list, so hopefully i'll get to know all of them better. good times, and warm fuzzies.

i may post about my issues later, but if i do, it'll be not tonight, and it will be locked.
