quick thoughts
Oct. 19th, 2005 09:33 amfirst, thanks for all the useful comments on my advice-seeking entry...it was really good to hear what you all would do. that's one of my favorite things about lj, the ability to ask a question and reach lots of people all at once...but without having to email them and put them on the spot. so yeah. happiness.
in other news, work is good, life is good, everything is going well. i had a very allergicky evening yesterday, which was not pleasant, but when it's a once every 4 months, i can handle it. plus, it only started in the evening, so i didn't have to deal with being sniffy and drowsy at work. i missed dance, sadly, but i'll go next week. and the boy came over to keep me company and we watched ever after, which is really cute and chick-flicky. i hadn't seen it in years and had forgotten a lot of the amusing moments in it. my favorite part is still the prince contemplating the idea of having one perfect match, and what happens if the one that's meant for you got hit by lightning...is that it, or can you still meet someone else? and i fyou meet someone else, are they the one for you or was the first one the one for you and if you met them at the same time, who would be the right one? heh. made me giggle, as always, and reminded me of having conversations with cin freshman year of college about how what if the person for you gets hit by a truck or killed by terrorists. yes. very odd, i know. and i don't think i really believe that there's one perfect person out there for me...it's more like, there are different people who could be really good, and it really is a matter of meeting someone at the right time in both of our lives. yes.
so anyhow, yesterday evening was good, considering i had allergies. and then my roomie (
maddancingfool) actually came home, which doesn't usually happen tuesdays, so i was very surprised...but pleasantly so, since i hadn't seen him since last week and was hoping to hang out with him and tali (
fireopal) at dance, but obviously, that didn't happen. so we got to catch up a little and he and tali will hopefully be at bab5 so that will be nice. and he brought over kitchen stuff from a co-worker, so now we have more plates and utensils, and a blender and a pot and even some wine glasses.
ok, back to actually working. good day!
