mad hot ballroom is an utterly addorable movie and i highly recomend it to anyone. lots of super cute kids learning how to ballroom dance...totally awesome.

i didn't get the job i interviewed at stanford va for last week (blah) but i have an interview on thursday for another va position (yay!). i'm also gonna have to fly down to sd sometime next week, but i don't actually know when. i also don't know where i'm gonna stay, but i'm kinda hoping i can just call andres and crash at the boys' place for a couple of days. this is all so annoying, the uncertainty. in the meantime, though, i'm dancing and hanging out with friends and thoroughly enjoying myself.

i don't know where i'm gonna be in a couple of weeks, but if i'm still here in san francisco, i wanna do the aids walk, which is a 10k walk that raises money for aids research and education. anyone wanna either sponsor or join me? it should be pretty cool...i've done it 6 or 7 times now...must find my pins to wear the day of.

must look for part time jobs sometime soon. if i don't find anything in the next couple of weeks, i'm gonna look for weekend type work so i can start earning some money. this real world thing is interesting, but also frustrating. i wanna go back to school!!! well, no, i don't. but i do wanna figure out what i'm doing with myself.

i also wanna start writing again...anything, really. i just feel like i haven't been creative in ages, and it would be nice to find something again. meh.

today was a really good day and tomorrow is also quite promising. lunch with my sister and dancing in the evening. should be good. looking forward to it all. missing san diego dancers, though. man, it's sad not to be around the dancer boys all the time. i'm glad i'm gonna be visiting for a little while.

i'll talk to katie, laurie, and Dave (subletter, cool guy), but I'm sure that they'd be just fine with you staying at our place! We live in the apartments where Javier lives. (I don't know whether you've seen them or not), and we have endless sleeping bags and two couches and a fouton and my bed is a double, etc. etc. So let me know!

i talked to andres and he said i can also crash at their place, so i'm gonna stay there for the first night, since they're closer to where my interview is, and then we'll see after that. i'll be in san diego sunday night, my interview's monday morning, and then i'm staying until wednesday, so we should hang out! party time!
