why does it hurt so much?

before, i used to get all teary-eyed because of how sweet certain bits of the letters were. now, i'm crying because of how sad and final those bits are. i think i'm due for a rant, but i don't wanna write one in here. perhaps an angry letter with a disclaimer will do it. we'll see.
