my sleep schedule is all warped
Jan. 17th, 2003 01:25 ami got up at 3:30 am yesterday because of our sunrise surprise, and then took a nap when i got back home...so now my body is a little off on its schedule, but i know i need to get to sleep since fridays are always long days for me. so i thought i'd just quickly update before i went to sleep. it was a nice day today...watching the sunrise with the toga girls was really nice...we all talked and shared and i felt like we were getting to know each other better. also, today was the first b'nai mitzvah session, and it was really cool. rabbi lisa is very knowledgeable, and it was nice to hear her explain things. it's not too often that i get to talk to a jewish person who really knows a lot about judaism and can answer my random questions, so it was good to have that experience. we'll be meeting weekly with the group...i'm very excited about it. you're all invited to the ceremony, sometime in may! and then dance practice was pretty good. we went over the stuff we learned on monday, and then i got to talk to sean and we're gonna compete in at least chacha at dance by the shores! i think he's gonna compete with abby in rhumba or something, but that's cool...i know how to share. let's hope she does, too. now i just need to find someone to dance waltz and tango with...we'll see what happens with that. i'm tres happy and looking forward to the comp. it's gonna be lots of fun!
in other news, we had to get measured at practice for our costumes, and let me tell you, the tape measure is not my friend. i really don't enjoy finding out how many inches around my waist is. it's just not pleasant. but that's ok. yeah.
ok, will force myself to get to sleep. good night all!

i've got a love-hate relationship with the tape measure...
