updating per request

dancingyelsince emily has requested that i update (heh), here i am. updating. i guess i just haven't felt like it in a while...been super busy with stuff, and when i do have free time, i find other things to do with it. so to sum up my last week and a half or so...last week was the toga totter which went well, but was rather hellish on my schedule, since it was a 48 hour deal, and i had to be there as much as possible. in the middle of this insanity, i had a midterm, and then friday was sungod. i had to be in charge of the club booth, which was kinda sad since after laurie went to class, i was alone for almost an hour until greg came...and i couldn't really go explore other booths, but that's ok.
over the weekend, i went to see matrix: reloaded with emily, and it was really cool. i liked the action scenes and stuff...people say they were too long, but i didn't think so. i also think the plot was ok...people say it's plot-less, but the problem is that it's a middle movie, like TTT, and thus has no real beginning and no real end. i didn't think that was a problem, but apparently, lots of people did. and then sunday, we had a show. and on monday was the team banquet, complete with paper plate awards. i got "giggliest." i suppose it fits...it was a pretty good award, really. i giggle lots, especially wednesdays. my favorite award was jeff getting the "bounce on 2!" award...only MIB people truly understand that one, and it's great...and the video of the showcase justified it, capturing jeff being really confused and bouncing somewhere closer to 3.5 than 2. heh.
my bat mitzvah is coming up next week...10 days and counting, says rabbi lisa. i'm getting super nervous. lots of people will be there...and i can't for the life of me chant the torah portion! i'm meeting with the rabbi tomorrow, and hopefully she'll reassure me about it or something. but i'm also excited...it should be really cool.
