dancingyelhere is the funniest comment i've received in recent memory, re: my post about the top ten huggers list. it's from greg.
Ah yes, the annual (or is it bi-annual now?) Top Ten Huggers Awards. For those that don't know about this award, I feel I should give all the readers some fake background. The awards are based on several stylistic and technical merits, the various scores are tabulated, and then the overall scores are normalized and compared. In the event of a tie at any level, a tie breaking criterion is introduced where a point is awarded to the competing nominees based on which most recently commented on how tres happy the stuffed meese look at the edge of the bed. The results of awards are kept under guard at Price-Waterhouse-Coopers and are only released at the specific date of "later this week".
The best hug criteria is best on several merits, most significantly
-Duration (points awarded for extended duration, points deducted if duration reaches point of "creepy")
-Strength of squeeze. (points awarded for overall pressure, points deducted in the event of temporary suffocation, bruising, or internal bleading)
-Body odor. (points awarded for lack thereof, points deducted for "odious olfactory emanations", or anything "allergicy")
-Style (points awarded for origionality, grace, and confidence. points deducted for failing to stick the dismount)
