well, i'm done with finals. don't know two of my grades yet, got a's in the other two classes. good times. this is already a gpa boost, whether i get a's or b's in the other ones. i should be more hyper, but i'm not. i think all my hyperness wore itself out the last couple of days, when i couldn't sit still for the life of me. as it is right now, i'm just calm, a little melancholy almost. i had a really great quarter, and while i'm definitely ready for a break, i'm also reluctant to let go of the good quarter. winter promises a lot of fun, too, so that'll be good.

not sure why i'm so lethargic. i had a good night's sleep, a good nap, yummy food, everything's great. i'm definitely a little off this evening. weird.

but why isn't the term ever "little on?" because being on means all is well; it's just perfect. being a little off or off by a long-shot indicates how much we can perceive to be... off.

what's missing from the perfect pitcher (picture), yelane? =)

yeah, "a little on" is odd because you're assumed to be either on or not, and various modifications can be added to the not, but on is the highest state of things, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

what's missing from the perfect picture, you ask? i'm not exactly sure. i think it may be just me being silly and sad about the great quarter ending. for all that i know winter should be awesome, it's hard to believe it can be so great. i had an amazing fall quarter, and i suppose that while my confidence in myself and God has grown, it's still not high enough for me to be able to say, "yeah, that was great, and it will only get better." instead, i have a tendency to think, "i've never had such a great time at school. it's just a fluke, it's not gona repeat itself." so yeah, i think that's the problem.

wow. thanks for asking. gave me a reason to think it out.

hehehehe...we should definitely meet! i think i'm getting my hair done thursday morning-ish, but we can meet and hang out after that, and you can see me with my straight hair. definitely call me!
