dancingyelwe won at nationals, beating byu idaho! highly exciting, that! it was an awesome weekend...lots of dancing, watching people that were really good, great workshops, went to several theme parks...just had a really good time. there's defintiely a couple of people i don't want to see for about a month now, but it's ok. i'll get over that. i was really glad kevin was there, though...he's the one from nationals team that i get along with best, and it was good to have someone to hang out with that i don't get sick of.
it was nice to come back yesterday and see all the dancers i hadn't seen in 5 days, especially one particular one. wasn't actually all that excited at practice, but had a nice convo later, and that was happy.
the amusing thing is that josh has invited me to go to a conference with him this sunday. where was he 3 months ago? i may ago, depending on when he calls me back with the details about it. i like hanging out with him still, and it's not like i'm actually involved with anyone or anything.
to use emily's suggested codename, i do wish elrohir would do something. silly boy.
i'm bit stressed out right now, to put it mildly. this quarter is an overloaded quarter for me...lab at random times on mondays and wednesdays, lab 8-3 fridays, class from 9:30-3:30 tuesday and thursday, as well as a lab meeting afterwards. dancing 4 nights a week, 9-11, friday fun session if i go on friday, possible saturday lesson with yolanda. and then, homework...weekly papers for one class, stats assignments i don't get really well for another class. too much stuff to take care of. hopefully, i'll settle into a good routine and it won't all be so overwhelming.
all right, off to dance!
