very brief explanation of last post

so the reason i'm miserable, or was miserable since i'm actually feeling much better, is that i don't know what to do for my birthday...it's so soon and i'm turning 21 and i wanna do something exciting, but the vegas plans have fallen through because my grandma has to have surgery on her arm on tuesday so my parents can't go, and cin's parents won't let her go if it's just the two of us. so yes. most of my friends won't even be in the bay area and i don't know what i should do...and i don't wanna plan anything else 'cause i'm feeling all sulky, but i also don't wanna spend my 21st birthday being sulky, you know? so yes, that's the miserable part. but i'm feeling slightly better because i'm done with finals and will be flying home shortly.

that's right, you're a berkeley person! it's funny...i don't really associate you with locations, just a general online friend.

i'm not sure what my parents want to do on thursday, which my actual b-day, but i'll probably be free on friday or something...i'll give you a call when it figures itself out, but yeah, i definitely wanna see you before i go back to school!

hey elaine! how's being back home? i wish i could be back there with you. we should have a huge party or something when i'm back in sf....maybe over the summer(??!!) it'd be so fun for all of us girls to go out together! i miss you lots!
