dancingyel | probably the last in theset of updates for a little while

so this trend of updating every other day is coming to an end because i'm going back to where i'm staying in jerusalem today. i spent the weekend (here it's friday and saturday, not saturday and sunday) at my friend's place and at my grandparents' house. it's been really nice to see the whole family, cousins and their kids and various random relatives. i don't really know them too well, but they're family, and that's a really nice feeling, you know? it's nice to spend time with people who really want to see me...and i was so glad to hang out with maxim, the friend from russia. i stayed over at his place the last 2 nights and we did the "stupid college kid thing," as my mo would say and stayed up 'till 4 the first night and 5 the second night. it was cool, though...sleep i can get all the time, but i hadn't seen him in years and probably won't see him again for another 3 years at the least, and probably more. it's sad, but that's life.

i'm due for a locked entry sometime soon, probably next time i have internet access. i'd write one now, but my uncle is waiting for me outside, so i should probably go and be social with the family.
