so i'm back home, sadly enough. it's actually been fine so far, but i've only been back for half a day, so i don't have very high expectations. i'm looking forward to working, actually, since it'll be nice to earn money, and now that i don't have to answer phones, that makes the job much less annoying. i'm also not working full time, so i'll have time to do other stuff, such as study for my gre in a couple of weeks. scary! but i'm sure i'll be fine. i hope, at least.

boston was wonderful! it was so nice to spend time with nikki again. we like similar things and have similar tastes in food and entertainment and everything, so we had such a blast! i wish i could've stayed longer, but such is life. i'll update more when i have pics uploaded, as well as the israel ones.

mostly unrelated to anything thought: i'm excited for next year, it being my senior year and all, but i'm also frightened. gre stuff and applications and honors thesis and a lab and a ta position and dancing and most of my best friends being further away, including cin, who'll still be in san diego but living off campus. it's scary, with the changes. i wish i knew what my life will be like in a couple of years.

i miss having huggy people everywhere. i wish the world was a huggier place.

oh, announcement! my sister and alex are expecting another child! they don't know who yet, since it hasn't even been four months, but they're having another kid! that's so highly exciting! yay!

i'm definitely gonna have time to relax, especially when my parents go on vacation and i'll have the house to myself, which is a very nice thought. even now, i pretty much have the days to myself since my work schedule is pretty flexible. when are you free? i can take bart into berkeley one day and we can hang out!
