the men's gymnastics all-around was simply the most exciting thing i've ever seen. wow. wow. amazing. no other words. i wish i could call someone, but it's a little late. wow!!!!!!!!!! i wish nikki was here to squeal with. nik, you were right...this is crazy exciting!

It was totally exciting! THIS is why I watch the Olympics, even though I never watch regular sports.
Did you know that the women's 4x200 relay swim broke the oldest Olympic swim record that was currently on the books? That was pretty exciting, too.

yeah, the women's swimming was so cool! they were ahead of world record time from the first leg, like 2 seconds ahead. that was awesome!

I saw it too .. I WAS SOOOO EXCITED !! I must admit ... I think Paul Hamm is SO cute ... his voice is a bit high but that doesn't matter to me ...and he has a twin (grin) ... That was so awesome ... shows you miracles DO happen. I don't watch these gymnastics except for the olympics but it's totally inspiring. =)

paul hamm is a cutie, isn't he? his voice is really funny, though...my friend and i were watching, and we just burst out laughing when he started talking! but it's ok, he's hot! and twins are just cool!

i love the olympics. makes me want to follow men's gymnastics more. and swimming...hot boys in speedos...yum!

I agree, but they aren't wearing speedos per se in the Olympics. I mean, Speedo could be the maker of some of their suits, but the cover much more of the lower body than speedos. Just the same, the swim trunks they're wearing are Very Low Rise and you have to appreciate the fact that their upper bodies are simply lovely. ;)

Now, on the news, they're saying the Koreans are protesting the men's gymnastics scoring. I'll be very sad if Paul Hamm loses his gold medal.

well, some of them are wearing speedos, the little-more-than-underwear type...just not very many. and besides, even the suits are so tight, it almost doesn't matter. swimwear leaves little to the imagination. heh. i'm guessing you're thinking about michael phelps with the low rise comment, aren't you? dude, some of the shots of him look like he's naked, the trunks are so low.

i really hope paul hamm keeps his medal...he was so great!

yay for carly, but i was actually rooting for khorkina. ah, well.
