oh my gosh 16 schools!?!?!?!!???!?!? What is your top choice?
Right now I am soooo glad I'm taking a year off before dealing with all this application stuff. Except I guess when everyone's finding out their decisions for next year i will be a little sad that i won't know where i am going yet....
hehehehe...that's a wonderful reaction! you know, i'm actually applying to less places than other clinical psych people i know...since the acceptance rate overall is so low, we all apply to loads of different schools. i may end up taking a year off if i don't get in anywhere, but i hope i don't have to do that. the whole process would be much easier, though, if i didn't have classes and stuff to also deal with, but that's ok.
my top choice is the UCSD/SDSU joint program, but i doubt i'll get in to it since it's the only one of its kind in the country and takes like 12 people. heh.
hehe...it's pretty bad, isn't it? but now that i'm done with one, i feel much better about the others...and i have about a week and a half to finish it all, so i think i'll be ok.
good luck with your RA apps...i can just imagine you being an RA and giving helpful advice to freshmen!
Reminds me of applying to Undergrad ... and I applied to 21 schools !!! Anyways, I'm so happy that you're applying to so many and I'm sure you'll get in your top choice .... btw .. what is your #1 choice !!! YOU GO GIRL !! (hehehe)
so my top choice is this program that the psychiatry department here at UCSD has with the psychology department at San Diego State...it's a really cool program, but it doesn't take very many people (not that any of them do) so i don't think i'll get it. that's why i'm applying to so many...it maximizes my chances, at least.
