so i think i'll start on my year-in-review entry now and do several parts, since i don't think i have time to do all of it at once. it's been a good year, so there are lots of highlights...and some not-so-great things, but it's been awesome for the most part.
january: the best part of january had to have been nationals! spent 4 days in florida, won nationals and beat byu idaho in the process, went to amusement parks, and generally had a blast. fun memories! also started working at the cognitive development lab, the one where i got to go to preschools and test kids. that was pretty awesome...too bad i'm not doing it again this year. oh, and honors psych started, which was hard with stats and all, but now i'm really glad i took it. oh, and then chris started dating heather, right at the end of the month. that sucked. so it's not really a highlight, but that's ok.
february: february seems to always be a hard month for me. this time, there was a fire in the appartment right above ours and we got flooded and lived in emily's appartment for 3 days...all my stuff was ok, except, sadly, for my dance shoes. they died. also, the week after that, i found out that my granparents in israel weren't doing so well, and that was scary. but there were also many good times, like the first of several crazy nights after earl's. and theonering.net's oscar party! such an awesome time in la, and getting to hang out with avi and other lj-ers, and getting to see elijah wood and dominic monaghan and billy boyd and peter jackson and others really close! best party ever! oh, and the dancers went to cal open and had much fun watching slavik dance...awesomeness!
march: turned 21! definitely the coolest thing about march. also helped and danced at day by the shores. chris and i did pretty well in smooth, too. and then i had to book stuff for vegas, which was maybe the most miserable day of my year. not my life probably, but pretty close. ah, well, i'm glad it all worked out.
april: dance comps galore...went to sfo and vegas...that was much fun, especially vegas. although, sfo was the one and only time i got to actually perform the no doubt routine, so that was cool. hmm...reading over my lj, it seems that vegas stress was also a big thing at the beginning of this month. silly vegas. so glad i'm not doing travel this year. but yeah, april was not the best month, i think...crises with vegas and school and general stress and roomie issues, but it all worked itself out. hehehe...i also bought hermit crabs for my niece! and got encouraged to grab kevin's ass! hehehe.
ok, so that's all for now. more to come later...i may finish the rest of the year tonight, but don't count on it.
