so i had an appointment with an allergist this morning, and after much poking and prodding and more breathing tests and stuff, i am now officially diagnosed with asthma. oh, and i'm apparently allergic to like every tree type thing that grows in socal. but not so much cats or dogs, which is surprising. yeah. great.

There's hope !! I have had a history or life threatening asthma (with numerous trips to the ER like every week) up until the age of 7. Though, I was treated homeopathic-ally and have not had an episode since. So now is the time to look into different options. If you need help, my Mom's a homeopathic Dr. and may know someone in the SD area. Lemme know.

thanks for the offer, hon! i was treated homeopathically for a while back in sf, when i was younger and had very frequent allergy attacks, and it helped some but not a whole lot. i'm gonna stick with mainstream meds for now and see how that goes, but i'm glad to know about other options, as well.
