just watched the "cameras in middle earth" documentary on the rotk ee...it was funny and cute and informative, and i thought i might cry, but i was ok through most of it. and then they showed the last shot of rotk pick-ups, with frodo writing the book, and peter jackson and elijah wood saying good-bye to each other, and that was when i cried. oh, man.

Right after I bought the DVDs I watched through the film, the film with cast commentary, and all of the special features. Every single special feature has a "cry" ending... I don't know how many times Peter Jackson said, "it's the end of an era."

yeah, i guess it's just the nature of it, being the last one and all.
