meh. between the email from yale on friday and the letter from the ucsd/sdsu joint program just now, i feel rejected. not that i wanted to go to yale much. or that i expected to get in to either of those. but that's 3 rejections now, and i have 13 more schools to wait for, but i'm just kinda sad. i want an acceptance to balance these 3 out!

Elaine, I wish I could be there to give you hugs. You will get into the *perfect* school (though I know how much you wanted to stay at UCSD). In the end, the right answer will come along and you will be truly happy.

yeah, it's usually the case that the rejections come earliest...but it's so sad, anyways!
