happiness!

i am very, very happy. it is possible that i really will be in the bay area next year, working in the field, and living around so many of my really good friends. it's not final yet, but there's a good chance. you know, this not getting into grad school thing may not be as bad as i thought.

yay for feeling good, did you ever figure out why you didn't get in? it seems so odd to me.

yeah, i'm not sure what happened. my prof says this year's been really tough, more so than usual. after the 15th, which is the official deadline, i'm gonna email people at the schools to see if i can get some feedback. hopefully, they won't be as busy, so maybe someone will get back to me.
