it's a bright sunshiny day
Mar. 9th, 2002 01:47 pmit's so gorgeous outside...i need to get out and be in the sun today...maybe later.
so yesterday was a great day. i really like fridays, in general, since it's the end of the week, and yesterday was one of the really nice ones. dancing was great, as usual. it makes me so happy to be there...even when i'm not dancing, just talking to people or watching the dancers makes me happy. i'm annoyed that i'll have to miss the dance sunday, but it's ok...hopefully the play will be cool.
i think the funniest thing about dancing is being used as a practice tool...some of the people, especially kevin and ceci, use me for demonstration purposes or to work out how to lead a step...tres amusing and happifying. i get to learn new steps and do all sorts of silly things when people mess up...like kevin yesterday. he got my arms all tangled and then decided to drag me off the dance floor...tres silly. i love dancers...so much fun! and i finally met someone who knows amateur couples! jon, because of his research, knows all of them. he even realizes what a stupid idiot genya mazo is...hehe...someone who agrees with me about that boy. but yes...conversations at dancing are quite funny. and jon was saying that for a beginner, i have a pretty good lead...that makes me ultra happy. not that i really need to lead, but it's a nice skill to have.
at night, i went to afternavs with cin. i was a little worried about it, feeling out of place and all that, but it was really cool. we played mini golf, and we had the greatest team! it was cin, sandy, sam-who-eats-a-lot, and me, and we all sucked! it was so funny! the course was par 52, and i won with a score of 68! too funny! and then we went to in and out for yummy burgers...except after i finished mine, it occured that they were probably pork, and therefore off limits to me. no more burgers for elaine...sad, but it's my own choice. but yeah, the people were really nice and funny and just plain great. one of the guys, dave, walked up with us and stayed and talked for 40 minutes or so...so cin and i went to sleep at almost 3. it was, all in all, a v. nice day.
new revelation: after much thought, i have decided that i should perhaps give graham crackers more time before judging him. after all, it takes some people longer to open up than it does others. why did i come to this conclusion? if you're on my friends list, you can read all about it for yourself, if you're not, ask me and i may tell you...no guarantees though...it all depends on my mood.
