comforter ups and downs...

so i talked to my mom this morning, and she says to me, "dad didn't actually find the comforter. he only thought he did." i'm all disappointed...then, like 2 hours ago, she calls me and says, "oh, you know the comforter? well, dad actually found it this time!" so i'm happy again...i hope it really is the comforter...i don't wanna get a phone call tomorrow morning telling me it really isn't it.

tired, tired...even though i didn't do much all day. i'm not getting enough sleep, and classes haven't even started...that's so bad! i'm gonna finish this entry and get to bed while it's still tuesday!

was a "scintilating sophomore" at the freshmen honors program reception today. met lots of new freshmen...freshpeople, as the warren move-in letter put it. they were nice...i think i'm gonna have fun being the fhp intern, esp. if i can get free tickets to outings and such. that would be nice. and the provost is pretty cool...he's funny and a nice person.

tomorrow is the first sorority meeting of the year...i'm excited about it since i'll get to find out about all the events we have planned for the year. i wonder if we'll have a pledge class this year...perhaps spring quarter or something? i really want to get to know the girls better...they all seem really nice, and i'm excited.

had our floor meeting today...only talked to a few people, since it was a very brief meeting, but that's ok. found out that the cute v-ball player from massage last quarter lives on our floor...i wonder what his name is...

forgot to get hum books...must do that tomorrow.

still haven't finished decorating...didn't do any of that today. must finish that tomorrow, before classes start.
