i love dancing

going to the argentine tango society was super happy...tango is so much fun, and argentine is great! it's really a lesson in following, since all the set patterns are just used as a foundation, and the leader can do whatever he wants (more or less) as long as he leads it well. it's hard because you can learn technique and patterns and such, but the most important thing is just to follow. today was great since we did lots of exercises in basic leading and following...weight changes and such. it didn't seem like a lot of stuff, but it was really good practice...and rather draining. starting next sunday, i'll be taking argentine tango classes at rimac, so my sundays will involve nearly 4 hours of tango...isn't that great? that makes up for the fact that i can't take yo's class because it's right in the middle of physics problem sessions. yes. it's tres sad, but hopefully i can take her class next quarter or something.

if cin wakes up from her nap soon, we're gonna go get sushi for dinner...yum!
