(no subject)

well, it's been an interesting couple of days, with the fire and all. the air is all smoky and ash is everywhere, but we're not in the path of the fire or anything, so we're ok. had a moment of panic yesterday when we had to pack an emergency bag before we went to bed...that was sobering, thinking about what i'd take with me if i could only take a duffel and run. but yeah. doing better today.
