1) Total number of books own:
Oh, I don't even know. Books that are just mine, not my parents'? Probably in the hundreds. Hopefully, I can buy more once I have more space and money. Books are awesome.
2) The last book I bought:
Digital Fortress by Dan Brown...impulse buy when I was at the airport and bored out of my mind, but it actually wasn't bad. The last planned book purchase was a lot of 11 used Agatha Christie books from ebay...that was happy!
3)The last book I read:
Funerals are Fatal, by Agatha Christie. I'm also in the process of reading Shadow of the Giant by Orson Scott Card, but since I didn't actually buy it ($25 for a book! I can't afford that yet!), it's slow going...reading it in the bookstore in bits.
4)Five books that mean a lot to me:
Am tempted to leave several of David's here 'cause I would list like 3 of them...but I'll try to list different ones to be interesting. I have to leave Lord of the Rings, though...that's just not changing! I'm having a hard time narrowing it down to 5...ah, well, here goes.
Lord of the Rings (JRR Tolkien, obviously)
Left Hand of Darkness (Ursula LeGuin)
A House Like a Lotus (Madeleine L'Engle)
The Little Prince (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)
Wings of a Falcon (Cynthia Voigt)
5) Tag 5 people and have them fill this out in their ljs:
