friend's mom: are you sure it's ok for you to stay over at ______'s (insert boy's name) house? nothing's gonna be expected of you?
friend: yeah, it'll be fine! elaine does it all the time!

heh...yes, you're the friend! i was so amused, but i wasn't sure if it was ok to mention your name, so decided to stay on the safe side. but yes, too funny!

i'm glad you're enjoying france! i'm sure you're doing lots of fun things! i'll send you my email in a separate email so it isn't in my journal...not that i'm hiding it, but still.

*hugs you* sorry to hear about the homesickness, but i know it'll pass. i don't think i'm going to dance tonight (coworkers are planning a karaoke outing, and i feel like i should be social at work...plus, i'm going to dinner with someone and i can't tell if it's a date or not, but more on that later), but i'll give everyone hugs from you when i see people next. did you hear? emily got a job!
