dancingyelwell, perhaps i will now have time to finish my now 4-part post! imagine that!
october: hosted bab5, discovering in the process that just as i suspected, bab5ers defy the law of physics that says that two bodies can't occupy the same space at the same time. we fit around 20 people in my room, and that's a physical imposibility. heh. let's see, what else? well, yom kippur was easier and more meaningful than in years past, so that's good. also, collar. also, haloween in the castro. also, dsl died and hasn't yet been restored, although it should be this friday.
november: attempted nanowrimo, and failed. ah, well. there's always next year. besides, i had so much more fun doing stuff outside the house than sitting inside, writing every evening. not that writing isn't fun, but i'm such a people person, and i had so many people i could hang out with! work sped up to previously unknown insanity levels, but that's ok. hung out lots with the boy, which i realize isn't an "event" as such, but still, yay! visited ucsd, which was definitely an event! i miss dancers, but it also reminded me that i love being in the bay area. man, i wish san diego was closer...like an hour away by car, that would be nice. even two hours. heh. on a not-so-happy note, cut off contact, once and for all, with an old friend. it was sad, but necessary. what else? well, there was an attempt at having a turkey curry buffet, but unfortunately, i couldn't attend due to icky stomach bug. but i heard it went well!
december: well, it's still the middle of december, but no matter. it's been pretty eventful, anyhow. work has been insanely busy, mainly because we had our first subject! yay! went to a white elephant and acquired moose #55! and then, from cin, got moose #56! and from irena, got a moose glass figurine, which is #12 or 13 on the list of moose non-plush things that i have (and is awesomely silly and cute)! so yes, good half-month so far, and hopefully will finish itself off nicely.
so the year draws to a close, as, finally, does this post. i still have a summary-ish thing i want to write, not so much about events, but a wrap-up of thoughts and things discovered, you know? and also, it'll be good to get resolutions that are clear and precise, and not too huge. so yeah, one more review-ish thing will be up eventually. sorry for the spamminess! heh.
