the friday five, belatedly

i realize it isn't friday, but i forgot about this last week and figured i might as well catch up now. yes.
1. Who was your favorite all time teacher(s)?
it's gotta be mr. redus, from middle school. ms. gallo and mr. hibbard come pretty close, though. all of them were teachers who really cared about their students, above and beyond the "regular" teacher. in college, my favorite prof was dr. christenfeld, but that was just 'cause i loved his sense of humor.
2. What did they teach?
mr. redus was the band teacher, ms. gallo taught english, but i specifically had her fro creative writing, and mr. hibbard taught physics.
3. What is your best memory from that class?
let's see...best band memory is 8th grade winter concert, when i got to play the flute solo in "the little drummer boy." it was a tradition for the principal flautist and the principal clarinetist to have solos in that piece at the winter concert, and as soon as i found that out in 6th grade, i vowed to play it in 8th. and i did.
in ms. gallo's class, i think the best time was doing a random skit thing with cindy. we used sign language and all. i have no idea now what the point was.
definitely the best memory of mr. hibbard's class was the day i ended up in the same physics group as both brendad and earvin, two senior guys (i was a sophomre) who were super hot. hehe.
4. Did you ever have a crush on a teacher and if so who?
never had a crush on a school teacher, although mr. lyons was pretty hot. does kung fu teacher count? *dies*
5. What is the craziest/wildest/weirdest thing you (or someone you know) ever did at school?
um...i think the crazy giggly shouting cin, nik, and i did on a regular basis during sophomore year probably counts.
in other, non-related news, the nice lady at the va gift shop gave me a handful of dried cranberries when i came in to buy candy for the office. so nice! kinda the epitome of random acts of kindness.
ok, off to nik's place for dinner! yay!
