wisdom tooth removal!

off to get lower wisdom teeth extracted. meep! i really want to go to bab5 today, but it will depend on my state. likely, i'll end up going and just be very quiet and cuddle with people. that should be nice.

anyhow, wish me luck! i'm freaked out re: general anesthesia, but hopefully i can have something else done, like consious sedation or something like that. we shall see.

I had all four taken out a couple of years ago - ask dag29580863 for the associated funny stories sometime. :~) Even though all four were impacted, I was out and about by that evening (if I remember right). heh...i'm sure my mom has some funny stories about me, now. but yeah, i'm surprised that it went pretty well and i was even up for socializing. and eating ice cream! thanks for getting that yesterday!

i actually don't feel too bad...yesterday, i was all woozy and achy, but it doesn't hurt that much today. part of lip is still numb, though. i'm gonna call the dentist if that doesn't go away soon, 'cause it's making me worried.

you're right, it turned out pretty ok, except for that fact that part of my lip is still numb, and it's been almost a day. this worries me...

take care of yourself! If it starts really hurting, go see the dentist right away. Both shaenie and I waited too long and got infections.

thanks for the advice! i'm definitely the type of person who would wait too long to see if it would go away on its own. will make a note to self to not do that this time.
