i'm trying to find furniture for my new place, and it's driving me nuts.

so, i'm looking for furniture here because my moving expenses will be paid and all that, but it means that there's a whole other dimension to looking for furniture now. the question becomes not only "will it fit?" but also "will it all fit in my parents' garage until i have to move?" and "will it fit in the moving cube thing, even if i get 2 of them?" i'm getting a futon, a bedroom set, possibly a kitchen table, and bookcases. so much stuff!

also, scandinavian designs has cool stuff, but it closes at 6pm! meep! i took the afternoon off to go look at stuff today, but i didn't order anything because i'm meeting someone witha bedroom set from craigslist, and i don't want to make a decision until i see it. but then, if i do want stuff from the store, when in the world do i get it? i'm gone this weekend and super busy the next, and i can't just take random afternoons off all the time. meep. and you can't order online with them. maybe i'll see if i can call the sales guy that helped us today and order over the phone or something. complicated.

so, going a wee bit nuts. yay!
