i need something to do!!!!

i'm at work, waiting 'till 2:30 when the case conference starts. boring, boring...but i needed to get here early 'cause aric needed to get something from my room...so i came at 2, hoping that he'd come get whatever it was he needed and would stay and chat for a while and keep me company. but he had to go set up for a different presentation at 2:30...so he had to go...oh, well. it was funny...he was like, "are you still coming in at all?" and i said that yeah, i'm coming in on and off...he was like, "well, give me a call when you're in sometime and we can hang out." right...like there's anywhere to really hang out here at ucsf...maybe the caf or something. ah, well.

will (maybe) go and finish my moodtheme. or not...we'll see.

hey caroline! what do i do at ucsf? not much at the moment, but my title is "assistant to the womne's mood and hormone clinic" which basically means i do whatever they need me to do, as well as help out with background research type stuff. oh, and i also get to sit in on case conferences where they discuss the psychiatric patients and what to do with them, which is super interesting!
i don't know anything about biotech internships...i'm sure they have them, but that's so far out of my area of knowledge...i mean, i know they have loads of labs, so they must have some internships, but i don't really know about them. i can find out if you want me to.

Then I could intern at UCSF too. =) That sounds pretty cool though, you actually get to watch them do stuff in your field. Internships are great...=)

Anyways, I really wanted to write b/c I meant to tell you about this amazing coincedance. You're reading that book by Harold Kushner called "How Good Do We Have to Be?" right? Well, my church is starting a small group study on that exact same book! AND..weirdest coincedance...it's at MY house! Wow. Too bad I'll already be in SD when it starts, or I would totally go. Anyway, yah. Just had to tell you about that! =) When are you moving back to SD again? You and Cin should come over and see our place and we can come visit you two! Since you're on campus I guess you don't get to move in until like the 20th or something right? Well we'd still have time. Oh yes, and who did you have for Chem 6BL? I have Ian Ball..and I have Carl Hoeger for 6C..who did you have for that? Ok, enough questions..talk to ya soon!
