interesting day
Oct. 11th, 2002 12:12 amso i'm an official tga girl now! i am the proud member of the matza ball family, complete with a sweatshirt with snowflake pattern letters, a baseball tee, a visor, a ucsd frisbee that i'm not sure why i was given, and a lovely bracelet. i am truly a sorority girl...well, sort of...but yeah. initiation was cool...bonding time for the sisters...lots of laughs and silliness. i like the girls a lot...i hope we continue to grow closer this year.
i was reading sam joe's entry about the power of the spoken word, and it got me thinking about it. i totally agree that while letters and such are great, nothing really substitutes for having a good conversation, whether in person or on the phone. some things just have to be said out loud...and they have more meaning done that way. i think that's why it can be so much harder to tell someone something than to write them a letter about it. actually saying the words means more, but it's also more difficult. yeah...i don't know how much sense that all made, but that's ok.
i shall now go to sleep so i can be awake at FFOG tomorrow. we're performing at 12:30 at the price center...i'm excited, but i also want it to just be over already. ok, then, good night all.
