good times!

so i didn't go hang out with the navs people today since i was sleepy and thought i'd go home, write a bit, and rest. i came home to a message from dave from hillel, so i called him back and he asked me if i wanted to go hang out in downtown la jolla. i decided that i did, so we went and sat at a cafe and had chocolate cheesecake and strawberry italian soda and really good conversation...exchanged stories of past relationships/important people in our lives, moments, and just random thoughts. then, we walked to the cove and stood with our arms around each other and looked at the ocean. and then he took me home and hugged me good night and it was just sweet and innocent and nice. it just made me really happy to hang out like that...friendly with a bit of romantic intention but nothing complicated. sweet is the best way to describe it. so yeah...i'm not sure where this is gonna go, but i'm pretty happy with it as it is...nice and calm. yayness!
