my poor feet are still complaining

yesterday was a very good dancing day because we went to this huge studio and there were more guys than girls in our group, so i danced lots and lots. i think i only sat out one song the whole first hour or so. maybe two...now the guys know how we girls feel, sitting around waiting for someone to be available. but yes, it was lots and lots of fun...i danced with kevin and doug, these two guys from the team that are really good. i don't usually get to dance with them that much since they're so good and everyone wants to dance with them. and i didn't have to deal with the creepy guy too much...i danced with him a bit, but not very much. it was very funny because i was sitting by myself and he came over to talk to me, and greg came and saved me from dealing with him...i was quite grateful. hehe...dancing is fun. but i don't think my feet like me today. well, at least it's sunday, so i don't have dancing today or tomorrow, so my feet will be able to take a break. high heels are fun since they make me tall, but they can be very annoying.
so i finally signed up for the avon breast cancer 3-day walk. it's a 3-day, 60 mile event this summer. there are actually 12 of them in different places at different times of the year, but i'm doing the one in san francisco since it's in july and it's convenient for me. it starts in san jose and goes to san francisco. you walk 20 miles or so per day, and stay in tents at this mobile campground at night. i think it'll be very cool, and a good cause, but what scares me is the fact that there's a $1900 fundraising minimum...that's an insane amount! i'm worried about raising it, but i'm hoping that if i ask enough people, i'll get the money. i mean, if i ask 400 people and they give me $5 each, i'll be over the minimum. and hopefully, some people will be able to give more than that. so everyone reading this, consider giving some money to this cause! it's a very good cause, and any amount, even if it's only $5 will be greatly appreciated. but yes. when i get my donor forms, i'll have to make lots of copies of them and hand them out to everyone. cin said she'd tell people at her fellowships and at church, so that's very nice. and nik said she'd donate money and talk to people, too. and my sister said she'd talk to her co-workers. i'm glad she doesn't think i'm insane for doing this. i hope i can do it. i'll have to start training seriously after spring break. cin said she'd walk with me while i'm here...and sam said he'd be my training buddy when i'm home in the summer. i love my friends...they're very cool and supportive.
