panic!

i keep having to remind myself to breathe. i think the only other time i've panicked like this was last year, when i was trying to deal with the vegas trip disaster. i hate this...i'm so glad i didn't have to deal with any of this when i was applying to college. oh, man. now i know why all those people who were applying to like 20 places were freaking out. this is horrible.

i wish i could take a hot bath, but we don't own a stopper, and the bathtub is scary and not very appealing, even if we did.

i just discovered that boston university, a place i'd really like to go, has a deadline on december 1st, two weeks earlier than everyone else. i don't know if i can get everything together in time to apply there.

i know this isn't such a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but i'm just so overwhelmed and panicked and short on time. too much to take care of in the next couple of days, and i can't just ignore my classes, either. i can't wait 'till the break, when it'll all be done. i wish i could scream, but people are asleep and that would be bad.

ok, i'm gonna try to go to sleep. hopefully, i'll feel calmer in the morning.

I hope you do feel better, the middle of the night is so conducive to panic.

If you would really like to go to Boston, send them a partial application and ask if you can send the rest later. It's better than freaking out, yanno? One step at a time. *hugs you hard*

oh, man. i do feel better today...things don't seem as overwhelming in the light of day, but only by a little. i think i'm gonna try to get my stuff for boston completed on time, but if i don't, i'll just send them what i do have, like you said. i also discovered today that UMass at Boston, another school i really like, has the same december 1st deadline, but their site used to say January 2nd, so they'll honor applications until then, which makes me relax a little.

blah. can't wait for it to be done. at least all the other schools are December 15th, like i thought before.
