learning from mistakes...

well, two mistatkes and a non-mistake in this case, but that's a technicality...btw, there's no reason for me to be thinking about this, but i was, so i thought i'd post it.

so i've only ever kissed 3 guys...i mean like really kissed, kisses on the cheek don't count. out of those 3, i regret the first 2...that's sad, but that's life...so those 2 are the mistakes, and the last one was a non-mistake. i think back on the first 2 fiascos, and i realize that even though i regret them, i've learned from them. after the regret and disappointment, and after knowing what it's like without regret, i'll never kiss someone before i'm sure i won't regret it. why i should i go back to that now that i've experienced something better? so yes. i think that you learn from mistakes, but also from the good experiences...because if you only consider the mistakes, you don't always have an alternative to picture, so the mistakes may not even seem like mistakes, if that makes any sense.

that was my random thought of the day...i mean friday, even though as i post this it's saturday already...but i haven't gone to sleep yet, so it doesn't count as saturday, right?

am going to see the street performers w/alex tomorrow. hopefully will enjoy the street performers.

oh, forgot to mention...canada trip is cancelled due to the fact that natalie's grandfather is in the hospital. i really hope he gets better. it's just an infection, but he's in his 90's, so even small things aren't really small. yeah...i'm not that disappointed about not going...i just hope he's ok.
